The Order Day Care and Orde Day Care Satellite, two provincially licensed daycares, provide childcare for 172 children from birth to l2 years of age. The Satellite Site is licensed for Infant, Toddler, Preschool; the Orde Street Site is licensed for Kindergarten, School Age, and Ten Plus Programs. The licenses ensure that we are in compliance with the Day Nursery Act on an annual basis and determine the number of spaces. The centre holds a Purchase of Service Agreement with the City of Toronto that offers fee subsidies for eligible parents and requires the centre to meet a set of standards laid out in the Metro Criteria. A Program Consultant with the Children’s Services Division of the City of Toronto reviews these criteria annually.
The hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Qualified staffs are on duty during these hours.
